Pause on NextRound

Hey all - Just wanted to take a moment to address the recent hiatus in posts on NextRound. As I just recently started a new job, I am in the process of getting the newsletter (specifically talking about tech companies fundraising) approved as an activity. Going to be a few weeks until my next post but have a pipeline of awesome articles ready to go.

For those of you that follow for the restaurants / food content - checked out 3 places this weekend

Ye’s Apothecary - basement speakeasy with chinese food and cocktails on Orchard St. Food was pretty good and better than the drinks. Really cool vibe and not too loud which was nice.
Daddy’s - BYOB sidewalk italian spot in the WV. Cash Only. Place is a huge vibe and BYOB is super fun. Going to be a Saturday afternoon spot with a glass of Rose. They make some mean meatballs and a lemon parmesan linguine.
Mr Capri - New italian spot on 8th and 6th. Food is traditional italian and good but did not blow me away. Bar is open till 1AM which is huge (for a restaurant bar).
Manicure spot next to my apartment - The lads got foot massages and had drinks before going out on Saturday night. Was hilarious and made friends with the staff and other people in the venue while making our own drinks in some solo cups.
